MK 6 RECOVERY TIDY UP ;)

Hi everyone, hope everyone is well!

I thought I put some pictures up on the progress of my recovery truck and because I am amateur gets some help and advice please

This was my old MK 5 recovery not the prettiest but very reliable, sold now!











This how my MK6 looked before I went on crazy refurb mode:











TO DO list

Clutch Replacement
Full Service
Replace Brake pads, discs and shoes
Sort out an oil leak
New waterpump
Install Twin Batteries
Wire a beacon
Sand Blast bed, rims and chassis (bought blaster from Machine Mart)
Buy a spray gun (properly buy this from machine mart aswell)
Paint callipers and rims
Refurbish axle and paint
Paint Bed (looking for help and advice on this please) looking to put etch primer and stone chip all underneath and on the bed buy some commercial paint, let me know what you guys think?? Thanks (I want this properly done so don’t need to worry about it for years)
Sticker the cab up

As you can see only a small refurb and need it all sorting for the 1st of July. Woohhooo Happy days lol

haha i drove it with out the bed and the truck was bouncing up and down like no ones business and even at one point it was flying.

I tell you something sandblasting is a messy business, gets every where.

Other then stone chipping the underside should i do anything to prevent rust i dont ever want to this again lol
