Gearbox replaced i took my old one apart and a lot of teeth where missing from some of the gears and the oil had bits of shine metal in it which is odd but the noise was still there had a look at the diff and that was gone to so took the axle out and then took that apart got a second hand diff and had a look at the two diffs together turned out my diff made its self a new gear  pictures to come

Thanks SCANIAMAN all as been quite with the van cause it as stop falling apart on me
But it is time for an update though so here we go

Replace the 4th or is that the 6th alternate belt since Xmas i lost count i know it so well i can do it with my eyes shut

I got my lights wired up only to find i need a different relay there not on dip or high there just on all the time

I got my blue sliding door and a mk4 door ain't a straight swap with a mk5 the lock are different had to file the hole a bit also there is a thing on the door that stops it from shuting right but that can be removed i also found one of my many rattles my sliding door lower runner ain't doing any running its missing the wheel so a few washer where made to fit and its as good as new
Image
Image
I added this to the door

I also got two new tires for the front my van likes it rubber it eats the front like there going out of fashion

I fixed my tow bar socket again

And at long last my dear old aunt made me some 70s looking curtains out of some 70s curtains she had hanging around

Ok an update been a while I went to Poland for some skiing not my best plan every but I drove the camper there and sorted back will get back to that.

Re doing the camper inside as on a long trip I found it tight on space.

Now the big part if all goes well tomorrow the camper will be off the road till April or May reasons why well on the way back from Poland the camper started misfiring and the died and wouldn't start up again luckly my uncle drive articulated lorry to and from Poland he was ably to pick up the van :D back up and I have not gone near the engine as I have had enough of it breaking down did think about selling it then me brain clicked drive my Chevette and turn Camper into a project so this is what been happening so far in no order what so every
