That is very cool!!!!...Our Mk 1 has the individual letters at front..not the oval badge..Toni's is thinking about replacing F O R D with something else...which will be simple to do as they're just letters...But the whole custom manufactured badge/emblem is a fantastic touch.

Well
my van has been soooo long in the paint shop, that i have learned that i can no longer easily reclass it as a motorcaravan. so i am now looking for an actual caravan to compliment my lifestyle. does anyone know what is the max weight i can tow?

and suggest a good caravan for under 1000. inbox me if you prefer not to fill this thread with info

cheers

blimey what a saga .... i'd have slashed my wrists months ago  Seeing all that filling and rubbing down is making me very depressed.

Nice looking spoiler, should be worth a few mph and mpg .

The next thing you are going to need is some cool wheels. What about using some wheel spacers and fitting some extended wheel arches to cover up those rusty ones .

Talking of lambo's I've been thinking of reliving my youth and building an LI series lll 200cc someday but strewth even the Indian basket cases are silly money.?

Back in 1968 I left 2x LI 150 and a load of spares locked up in a garage at Gants Hill .....wonder if they are still there ?

yep like the badge a lot - you giving me ideas now to play with.

You might need some side skirts now to match the bumper.

Thanks for the comments all

Future plans are to fit some sensors to the front of the bumper and some fog lights in the recesses. side skirts are planned for later this year or early next year and a complimentary rear bumper.

the intention of the chap doing this work for me is to sell this as a kit of parts / individual items or as a complete fitted and painted product.

The bumper is available to anyone who wants one and will be suitable for Mk3/4/5

I think they are an extortionate price at the moment. i cant see why they are so expensive. they are in plentiful supply... oh and i bet if you can remember where you left it it is most likely still there :)
feel free to PM me if you want to talk about scooters as i could go on about them for ages. it seems there are a few of us scooter riders on here atm
