hi guys great forum. just thought i would introduce you to my tranny, shes a 1999 mk5 swb low top 2.5 di transit 80. very rough around the edges lol. eventually i will be converting her in to a camper but not till spring/summer next year. so here are the bad parts,

but have already partially fitted a tailgate in stead of the barn doors. door does need some work but it can be done. thanks for looking guys

Just a quick update after a weekend end of welding cutting fingers and arch burnt face here is how she looks now

seatbelt anchor point donated preformed steel rear floor and small hole

if it doesnt fall off - its a good enough weld..... its amazing how you can tidy things up wit a grinder ;)

i will agree with gravelrash if it holds as it should its good enough.
and b&q do cheap flappy paddle wheels screwfix might aswell.

but who am i to comment, i have a mig and an ark but cant get
two bits of metal to stick together! infact more mely action than joiney action. lol.

Just a quick update been doing a bit of welding new drivers side sill arch and wing also had to rebuild lots of the inner arch will stick up some photos as soon as I have time

Also so aquired 16" wellars, ford galaxy swival seats, clear indiccators and remore start microwave alarm oh and alluminuim side steps.
