F***** mindless idiots broke into the van Thursday night. Smashed the door lock, ripped the plastic cowling of the steering column. They left a piece of slab on the drivers seat but that was it they stole nothing! On the same night they stole an Escort van and broke into an LDV. With Northamptonshire Police Being one of the worst Police forces in the country they turned up within an Hour of me reporting it. Unfortunately SOCO Had nothing to go on. Ive spent out about £100 on an alarm complete with microwave sensor and warn away add on awesome!!

The mircowave sensor can detect when people get close to the vehicle and warn them that it is alarmed, I've got one for mine but have never fitted it. The one I have gives them 2 warnings that the vehicle is alarmed then activates the alarm, not that anybody pays any attention.

I was told that this wouldn't work on my van properly and would only protect the front window areas

Just like mine you can record your own voice onto it or connect it up to your comp and transfer what ever you want Couple of girls passed by the van and walked away with red faces

on mine all the doors are alarmed. except the back doors and i got a motion sensor in the back. only thing is i keep setting it off

Yeah quite right, doesn't like metal. That's why I fitted door switches and never bothered fitting the microwave sensor.

Go onto Ebay and then onto this chap hes really good : traveller2009 for the alarm, then : in-car-stuff for the microwave sensor he also does the warn away module

i got me the original alarm system.
the big teeth fury version.
mot man thought i was joking when i told him about it,then got really serious about leads and stuff when i "deactivated" it and removed it from vehicle so he could take it in for test.

Had planed on going to Billing over this weekend and putting some names to the faces but spent all my bloody wonga getting the van secured again
