engine clutch

Hi I am looking for a mk6 transit and need some help on which engine is more reliable tddi or tdci also standard clutch or dual mass is there a way to tell what engine or clutch is in the van in the way of badges or plates. I am looking for a swb or a mwb. Many thanks for your help. Kev

The 100ps 2.0 litre is the best all rounder FWD
The 90ps 2.4 is the best all rounder RWD

TDCi should be avoided unless they have bullet prrof history, they can be expensive to repair if they have not been properly looked after

Thanks mate, do you know which has the normal clutch too.

75ps, 85 ps and later 100ps 2.0 FWD have solid flywheel
Most RWD have dual mass flywheels
