it's a genuine disk. I actually usually have scanned in genuine ones, but this time I didn't have time to print one up (forgot!) so it was one we had from off our M reg Mk1. I edit the reg numbers off the scanned copies, and also scanned in some from a reference book I bought at Gaydon.

God that's had a hard life, did you take it out of a burnt out scrapper?? When I said that was a geniune disc in the van on the shoot, I really meant it was in the windscreen in 1986.

Lukes right, that disc in the window is a later type one and wasn't around in the 80s. They changed over in the early 90s to only show month and year, like the one you have in the window.

Which one are you looking at Luke??? I repeat, THE ONE IN THE WINDOW IN SHOT IS AN ACTUAL 1986 TAX DISC, one we bought ourselves over the counter at the post office in 1985 I didn't put it there till the cameras were rolling, aside from having the word Police and a blue light rotating on the roof, we didn't want to add not having tax on display to the list. So, it didn't go on the windscreen till the road was closed.

If you read the caption to that pic, you will see that I was rigging the blue light and finishing the livery, on the open street. That's the tax disc I drove to the location with, it expires in April next year! I though you had some kind of super zoom you could see the on set tax disc with, and it was somehow distorted on the windscreen

Thanks Den, will you be getting History Boys, the feature film? Our minibus is in that. Mark madvanman's already done a bit of 'remedial work' on Camilla, she looks good but he had to rush cos of the shoot! I will put up the ics when I download them, there was no sign of Robbie though!

Put one in Harry Potter and we'll see it. LOL . We've recently started watching a show called Heartbeat and I was happy to see a Rover P6 on it along with lots of interesting stuff. Is that a current show?

Also we try to catch Rosemary and Thyme.

I'll keep an eye out for these you mention. We only really have one channel that shows any British shows.

Heartbeat is sort of current it will depend on which Police Constable is the main character, Nick Rowan is the original replaced by Mike something, think there is a third constable... Nick Rowan incidently left to join the RCMP not that I watch it ever
