wow u have done a cracking job of converting that m8 truly inspirational
i have just bought an 08 NWRail van of the same ilk i should have it sometime this week
i`ll post a few pix up when it arrives ,i hope to get it converted to my liking through the winter
so expect plenty of questions regarding my refit,i`m not to worried about the fitting out of the furnishings
but electrical side of things will be my biggest concern
i hope to be able to use whatever i can that`s already wired into the consumer unit but we shall see
if i can get it anywhere near a tidy job as yours i`ll be more than happy ...WELL-DONE

I've just bought one of these to convert. Your conversion looks great.
Did you install an external power hook up?
If so, how did you connect into the existing wiring.

I did indeed

The hook up point is under the rear safe t bar, then the leads goes into the back to a red socket, should really have a separate fuse box too but I didn't get round to it and the socket is fused anyway. Then I simply connected a caravan charger to it which is then connected to the two batteries. Leaving me one spare mains socket which is run through to the front to a normal 240v socket for the microwave or anything else I want to power.

I'm in the planning stages of my conversion, and I was wondering if you think it was worth pulling up the original floor, and what insulation you used under your floor. I'm converting the same type of van as you.

Well I ripped up the floor and laid a new one but didn't insulate it. I would advise if you do pull it up insulate it as thats probably thr coldest part of my conversion
