thanks guys

@Robbie: I could have wrapped it right round to the door, but I didnt think of that, mind you it might peel off as theres not much flat metal there to stick to.

I now have a plug for the Granny clocks, with no wires, so Im still looking for the pin/colours...

Could you heat it gently and shape it ?

can you tell which model the clocks are from, someone must have a haynes schematic and colour guide!

Ive got a haynes manual, but it doesnt tell you what pins each colour goes in, Ive worked most of the simple bits out, but if I had a list, it would confirm what I have and the rest wont be guess work

Ive been finishing off Gurj's front bumper over the last few evenings and spotted my attempt at making quads on the shelf... So while the putty was setting, I had another look at them, but out came a bit more fibreglass
Not happy with the way their looking, with amount of space to fit the lamps in, is proving to be a problem, the deeper I set the lamps down, the less room I have to mount them and I'm not going to cut any of the van to make them fit. Bring the headlamp forward and you end up with the edge showing. Think I'm going to scrap the idea with 5 3/4 lamps and maybe change to projectors, which I wasn't keen on, as they are so small :(

The hard part is the width, MK4/5 lamps are wider, so plenty of room for the lamps & indicator. I have thought about usuing a small spotlamp, which Ive seen done before. Something to think about over the coming weeks, if I do use the small spot, I'll be able to use my original indicator, but I dont think will look as good...

If they come out OK, I might try and get some moulded, as I took them with me to Fordboynicks work today and the owner wants some for his MK3 SVO beavertail. Its gonna be a while before I get them finished, lots of trial fittings first...

Not sure they will be going on my van, as I dont want to change headlight support panel, but if I can get around it, Id colour code them
