Belt tensioner!!

Hi MrC , nice to see someones getting more help than i am on this one, in the end i got tired of waiting for a reply , i called Ford who quoted £380 +VAT to fit a new tensioner, which i cant afford, so i took the belt off again, soaked it in a basin of hot fairy liquid water for half an hr, let it dry then put it back on again, squeaked for about 10 mins then never heard a peep since! as far as im aware it still runs to the side of the pully but main point is the squeek!
