Shedrool83's mk6 90 350

Postby shedrool83 » Sun Jun 17, 2012 7:13 am

Bought my first van a few weeks ago.

Its a 90 350 lwb
133k

Since i bought it i have

changed the vac pump
fitted new aux belt and tensioner
new oil filter and oil
new fuel filter
new air filter
reverse camera
recovery beacon
rear work lights
Shelved the back
Sorted the central locking
fitted fuel filler flap

Still want to

Fit towbar
fit nudge bar and front spotlights
fit oem foglights
fit mk7 wheel trims
fit mk7 side repeaters
fit mk7 rear lights
get some kind of decals made up to break up the white on the sides.

Few pics of the vans for sale ad

Still a few things to add in the back for it to be how i want it for work but its more or less there.
I've been thinking about making the front cab a bit more comfy/nice anyone any pics of theres or ideas?

Dont have pics but all i did was bolt a 300m long bit of angle iron to the oem seat base using the original fixing points. Then bolted o bit of angle iron to the seats stuck the seat on to the base and bolted the to bits of angle iron together.

I may of got lucky with my seats being sparco as the two bits of iron meet perfect when i lowered the seat onto the base other makes will more than likely have different fixing points on the seat.

I did it that way instead of welding the iron into place so i can go back the oem by removing four bolts on each seat.
