Steering wheel for Mk 5

Postby Choppergeoff » Mon Jul 16, 2012 10:49 pm

Someone recently showed me their Mk 5 with what I believe was a Subaru boss and steering wheel. What other makes and models of steering wheel fits a Tranny Mk 5?
Thanks Geoff

Hi Robbie
Yes ,I've been down that road when I was into Bedford CFs. Your Capri wheel looks just right.
I'll start trawling ebay for one.

just gently tap onto splines as transit has master spline. i fitted and removed 2 or 3 times very gently pushing bit more each time, easy peasy, just pull off in between to free metal flakes!

my escort/cappa boss came from thailand i believe! or was it the snap off boss??
