Finally! Tax and insurance done, now I can drive :)
If I knew then what I know now, I'd have taken it to the scrapyard...

turn up fuel pump!!!! and use red 2stroke oil in fuel!

Not sure how to join the list ,but from what Iv learned on this forum............I must be 32 Mk 4 sounds good to me . :D

Well, I finally managed to get some veg oil at a reasonable price (£21 for 20 litres) so I tipped some into the tank and went for a test drive this morning. Over the Forth bridge, then a loop back to Edinburgh via Kincardine. She seemed to run fine, maybe even a little more power over diesel!
If I knew then what I know now, I'd have taken it to the scrapyard...

mine ran better on veg/derv mix than derv alone!!!! still add 2 stroke to it tho be loads better !

I'll give that a try with the 2 stroke oil - what sort of ratio did you use?

Hope you're having fun with that V6 - don't neglect your wife and child tho! :wink:

Well, the old girl is 20 today - first registration 2nd November 1992. Wouldn't you know it, the diff has let go to celebrate :?
