12 plate connect strange problems

ive got a 12 plate 90ps connect

it has a few strange issues

when pulling away all is fine but when i dip the clutch and release the throttle the revs rise slightly for about a second or two and then eventually drop, it may sound minor but it makes the van lurch and nasty to drive, this happens probably 80% of the time but sadly never when its at a dealers, it only seems to happen when changing from 1st-2ndand 2nd to 3rd


its been in twice already once they did something with the software and the second time they said they swapped the throttle

it used to stall quite reguarly when setting off but this seems to have stopped since the throttle pedal was swapped


any ideas or is this normal

i think someone else said their connect was doing this and one of the ford techs said it was some sort of anti-stall programmed into the ecu, although i would of thought the revs would of only risen by 200-300 rpm like on my girlfriends toyota. how much is it increasing the idle by?

Are the newer connects fitted with assisted hill start technology?

Yes they are, mine also raises the RPM slightly when you release the clutch, i sort of subconsciously changed my gearchange style to stop this, changing gear slightly earlier or later.

The hill assit can be turned of when van is stopped and in the menu via stick on steering wheel
