Clutch pedal wobble 61k 2005 TDCI 90

Ive just purchased my nice new (old) van only to find that the clutch pedal has started to pulse or wobble slightly when you just touch your foot on the clutch pedal. Also when you first start the van up from cold the noise is quite noticeable...I wouldn't have bought it knowing there was a problem.

I've got a 30 day warranty but as the clutch hasn't broken Im sure they won't want to touch it.

I know my brother had a Ford Mondeo which had a very similar problem and it was his flywheel at fault. Could some kind soul give me an explanation of what it might be so I can go to the garage armed to the teeth with technical info. Im quite happy to fix the problem myself if I have to, but working on cars isn't my idea of fun The garage doing it would be far better!
