Headlight switch?

Any one fitted one of these so you can dim the dash lights? and could you wire in the front fog switch to operate a set of after market fogs?

i reckon its do able just wanted to see if some one has done it already?

I've just swapped the front panel from my mates mk6 on to the same type focus switch .
Turned the dimmer to full and removed the wheel as no hole in the front panel.

The fog light tell tale bit .
At about 3o'clock as you look at it I used a 4mm drill and drilled through the black part of the panel,not all the way through the panel .

The added the wire for the front fogs.
Works a treat and looks good with the original front .rather than a mash up
