Might help with heat dissipation.

hi m8 not yet done so, as pulled rubber seal strip off from scuttle area. :)

nick reckons he got some that ll fit, so just be a case of making up another 2 into one if the manifolds allow the necessary route... time will tell!

Well a neighbour just handed me 3 strips of leds that run on 12v and are cuttable.
Nice!
Will find places to fit em when I Do the rear out as a day van !

So now I got 2 Ali framed 4foot long led strips up for sale made by Philips.
Pm me for details. And see older pix too

Had a lovely long lay in til 1230 this afternoon! whoops was gonna get up sooner!
wasnt all bad, by then sun was sort of out and it was warm ish so i jumped to it and started sorting out my new fuel lines and relocated fuel pump!

old Di shyte being replaced as its too easy to damage, and too near exhausts!
Image

pull this off to gain extra access behind heat shields
Image

test to see if pipe would go where i wanted it
Image

theres access right at back on right side if you can get your hands in there
Image

exiting from heat shield under van (return hose)
Image

both flow and return, flow braded from carb to here, so is return but cant see as slightly shorter braiding
Image

and pump power line, or 110v cable if your picky!
Image

return from bonnet to tank along chassis rail
Image

pump relocated
Image

toyed with idea of fitting inline filter, toss up between pump life and less risk of air ingress... new hose used so i fitted it!
Image

return will get hot still but least its not by a manifold.
Image

need to get piccy of flow pipe in position, will do it tomo!!

next on list of jobs to do will be get seats fitted , bulkhead moved or chopped up, and windows fitted!
