6000CD possible upgrade

Hi All
I have done a search and found several topics on upgrading from the 6000cd 1.5din unit (without the AUX), but havent found a topic with an answer on if it is possible to find anothr 1.5din unit with ipod/aux playback

Do ford do a 1.5 unit that has an AUX input, if not is there anyway to get the double din into the older style dashboard? dont really want to spend £100 on a Dension Gateway thing, so is there any other option?

Nope no way unless you change the centre dash bit which required a bit of hacking (see here viewtopic.php?f=54&t=98332&p=835862#p835862) .

Why not just fit a single din with blank? I have a single din DAB in my van but plenty of options with non DAB units that offer what your wanting.

hmmmmm didnt think about a DAB, very good point
now have more decisions to make lol
