The European Transits will be built in Turkey, I don't think there will be any British built ones any more :(

Na not sure i think it looks like a Vito has crashed into a cmax plus its a concept plus its a ppl mover so is it actually a transit? What about the rest of us van drivers or is it only for taxi drivers or ppl who don't know what a profelactic is?
Think I'll stick with my dream of owning a sport van!

Saw a mk8 van on the road today, a white one with a black window in the side panel, previously I could not decide about whether its ugly or not, no worries it looks fine, it also seemed to have a small frontal aspect to it, it looked small next to the mk7 van it was overtaking.

Had a good close up and seat in a Custom this morning, the cab is very nice and well thought out with more toys than a toyshop 8) It is however narrower and there is no dash top compartment on the passenger side plus the drivers one is tiny :? The load area seems very deceiving in size as it looks wider but externally the van seems narrower than the exsisting swb mk7, in fact we thought it could potentially be a bit oval shaped  I'm still not sure on a few of the styling lines but it certainly has a quality feel about it 8) Overall we agreed that it's like they've skipped a generation and it's a bit whoah out there on the styling just like when the mk1 Focus came out, i still stick by that it needs some more aggresive styling bigger wheels etc etc and hopefully the sport will do that :D

When does the UK get the full size MK8?

USA not until 2014 and they are retooling Claycomo for it, which is in progress.

Where will Euro versions be built?

Hard to believe all these Transit fiends do not have one real picture of the big one yet.

.

The LWB and jumbo should be out late next year, and by all accounts be bigger more like a crafter or large merc
