missing key fob or not is the question

I have just purchased a 2005 connect there was only one key with it should it have a key fob controlling my central locking like my 2008 transit ??? if so can i buy one and get it programmed ?????

Not sure if it should have one. But eBay do them and somewhere on the forum are the instructions on how to programme it to the van.

Yep you sure can, I had the same problem when I got my 06 Connet, I got a 3 button key, like the Focus has and it works well as the extra button does just the rear loading doors so you dont have to unlock all the doors if you just want something out the back, it also works the deadlocks, if fitted

Early 200 L do not have remote locking, our 05 did not. Turn ignition on and off 8 times in 10 seconds, if locks cycle you can add a fob, if they don't, you cant

thanks guys done the 8 times thing and no lock cycle so must not be able to be programmed cheers
