Have you checked them !!

As these can snap in the head if not care full take inlet off and check them with a live wire ( with bulb in the live line if you want )from battery or a constant 12v supply if they spark if bulb lights they fine if they done they are dead

Don't forget to take the buzz bar of thow

im in need of pictures of the procedure though if possible to see if i am up to the job
as far as i have read i get the engine to temp and then start the process?
im not sure in all honesty if i am up to it and if its not simple then i will have to get someone to do it

If you do attempt this job yourself make sure you block off the inlet ports in the head, you don't want to be dropping the very small nut off the top of the glow plugs down them !
You will probably never get them out and if it gets inside the engine you'll be fooked.
I would run a piece of wide gaffer tape across them !

Take a look at the second picture, glow plugs are just visible between the first and second pair of inlet ports (the black bits) and the second and third pair of ports, sitting just below the black rail.
You can see the small nuts I was talking about.

Cheers Harry
I'm wondering what time is down to do the job as I may get someone else to do it but don't want to pay dealer prices
Is there a transit specialist near Leeds I'm wondering??
