Engine Code location MK6 TDDi 2.0 fwd

Postby redsnapper » Mon Nov 28, 2016 10:35 pm

Where can I find the engine code on a 2002 MK6 TDDi 2.0 Duratorq fwd. ETIS lookup does not give it for my van.

Thanks

If you mean engine block number it's going to be on the block somewhere I assume

Is it engine number or the code for the type of engine you have.

If its the engine type code its found on the label on the passenger b pillar

On the left 4 letters (or letters n numbers) near the top, mines fifa for tdci. N

Thanks everyone - it was the 4 character engine code I was after - as now found on door pillar sticker - mine = ABFA

Leads me onto another question about the difference between same type engines with different codes - will post a separate topic.
