Postby Valsheda » Mon Apr 11, 2005 9:32 pm

JUST WONDERING IF THESE ARE THE HEADLAMP CONVERSION KITS USED ON A COUPLE OF THE AWESOME VANS FEATURED ON THIS SITE ,

THESE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE SITES SELLING THE CONVERSION KITS FOR SIERRA SAPHIRES , WHICH I THINK ARE KITS USED ON THE VANS ,

BUT THEY DONT COME CHEAP

I no it's not quite the same look but there is a guy on Ebay selling angel eye style head lights and I think they look pretty good and a lot less than the twin head light conversions.

NO THEY DONT LOOK THAT SPECIAL IN DAYLIGHT AND I THINK THEY ONLY WIRE INTO YOUR SIDE LIGHTS , SO WOULDNT REALLY NOTICE THEM THAT MUCH WHEN THE MAIN LAMP IS ON , PROBABLY ,

SO YES IT HAS GOT TO BE WORTH OPENING THAT WALLET A LITTLE BIT FURTHER TO GET THE TWIN CONVERSION ,

APART FROM MY WALLET IS CURRENTLY FEELING A LITTLE BIT LIGHT AT THE MOMENT

Ive measured up the sierra headlight agsinst a transit one today!!! :?
Seems to me it would take a bit of modding - i'd certanly like to speak to someone who has done it!!!

the sierra h/l is 6" high x 15 1/2" long wheras the transit h/l is 6 1/2" high and 13" long
and the curved part is slightly different

Image

This is a picture i took - certanly possable but mabe bonnet and grill mods are required or mabe mods to the twin headlight holder!!! :D
