Found a gem

Went for a little drive and i came across a yard with a few mkI vans all in very good nik and no rust and i mean NO RUST none nadda nothing
But one really sood out to me its in better condition than my van appart from the missing door that some scum stole and has had some trick engineering work done







Yep thats a 351 cleveland in a mkI also has a falcon front disc upgrade, diff change and rear discs the booster and master cyl has also been swapped for a falcon unit

The body on this thing is amazing theres only a small amount of body damage to the passenger wing and where the door was butchered off rust is non existant

there was 4 other mkI vans in the yard all in similar condition and all modded in one way or another

Oh yeah and i picked up a V8 crossmember when i was there so after changing my mind 50 times about what engine to put in my van i finally decided to go with a 351

V8 in a mk1 how cool is that its a pity it is hafe way round the world and that petrol is £4.60 a gal hear I bet that mk1 was nice in its day
