Thats not an AC pulley - its a non AC one. The power steering is driven off the front Vee.

Aircon ones have 2 plates for multi vee belts - the AC belt is a 6pk one

The AC compressor doesn’t have a V belt

My MK5 looks like this and I want to mount the compressor. I have the proper bracket. Just need to figure out how to add the belt. I intend to use the compressor to fill a rear mounted air tank to about 8 bar for painting. This has been done before with the same compressor and works great.

Thats an aftermarket PTO rather than aircon. Common for ice cream vans with soft serve. There is a shaft that come out and drives the machine in the cab

PTO is power take off - typically engine driven with an electric clutch to drive a shaft or hydraulic pump.

6pk means a poly Vee belt (the flat type with lots of grooves) - with 6 grooves. The other one is a 4PK - 4 grooves

Thanks! I need to figure out how to attach the compressor and add the correct pulley. I already have power steering. The options are to change the crankshaft pulley (only V belts) or change the compressor pulley (which currently has a 6 grooved belt) to a V belt which may be the easiest option.

Im sure I will have a crankshaft pully with the inner 4 groove belt and the single V on the outside.

I got rid of the ones with the 6 groove when I sold all my aircon stuff

The compressor has 6 grooves. Don’t know if it can run with a 4 groove belt. Wouldn’t be critical since the compressor is only occasionally running. (Photo is of another engine where I removed the compressor)

Ok,

So you need the type with the 4 groove belt (alternator, water pump etc) and a 6 groove for the AC Compressor... (not the type shown in your pic).

It appears you are looking for part no 1042771 or 1050620

I've looked and I can't find one at any of my normal sources :(
