Me again. I cant believe that we,re so restricted as to what wheels we can fit.I just cant understand why theres such a problem? You can buy spacers for just about any vehicle..i just got a set for my little suzuki jeep..32mm..surely someone makes a set of spacers or similar, which fits to the original tranny hub, but with a different stud pattern on the wheel side?? Most spacers are no more than £50 a set?? Am i just being thick here and missing the obvious?? My van NEEDS a set of modular wheels on it, now that its starting to look a bit less BT ish !! I wouls attatch a pic, but cant work out how..maybe I AM thick !! :D

Update on my problem !! I finally found that Superlite wheels do a hub conversion which changes the PCD from 160 down to 112.This then enables you to fit any Audi/ Merc/ certain VW and granada wheels to yer tranny !! So in effect u can have a set of wheels from a Merc SLK !! Theyre £110 a set of 4 conversion plates, and i,ve just picked up on e.bay a set of 4 alloys from a Granada Scorpio, which will soon be on my van...this option really widens the scope for choice of wheels, which up until now has been pretty limited. Hope this helps some peeps.

what did he say about your wellers then :?: no commercial rating on them
ive done a lot of reaserch before fitting car derived alloys on my van and ive not found anything about that unless the wheel is specifically rated - same goes for tyres, they dont need to be commercial rated just have a weight limit above the axles gvw :!:
