Currently have switches behind me, problem with infront is that you have to safelt get the wires past the cab. Any easy ways to do this? :?

try running it down by the drivers seat and then across using the step on that sideand up under the dash then across to the center and up to just under the radio.

thats an idea.

take off the trim over the door, loads of space. If you're looking at high power switching in the back, then you could run the large + and - wires to the back on one side, then a multicore control cable to control the coils in the relay panel in the back, over the other side door trim.

ah, well, My Mk5, I routed the low current interior lights and beacon light in the trim panel over the drivers door, and managed to lay it into the little tray there designed to carry cables to the rear (one interior light cable was already there). Would of been easier to route them around the dash if I took the dash out but I have flexible bones in my arms :P .
If you're doing a power panel with the relays in the rear SC, then get a multicore cable to run between the switches and the relays. you have one perm live to feed all the switches, then each extra core is the switch return feeding the coil in the relay.
