yes you will need either a transit adapterplate or a mt75 hybrid with some sort of linkage made up to move the stick further forward!!

or go auto!!!

the transit auto uses the same box as the granny scorpio A4LDE - you will need an auto prop or get yours modded and possably a gearstick or mabe you can mod the granada one??? not sure!!! :D

The autobox on the 24v has a sports/economy mode where as the

have a look at these it is possible :!: :!:

also found this on another site

24v v6 into a transit is a doddle, use the granada engine mounts, use the adapter plate and flywheel from a V6 2.9 transit ( although a v6 capri/granada/sierra flywheel can be used with a spacer), diesel clutch can be used, you have to reshape the bulkhead by the clutch peddle by about an inch ( big hammer works well) from the engine bay side, can't remember if you need a different rad. if you can get the engine mounts from a v6 2.9 transit all the better, if not you can use the granada ones, what you do is cut up either side of the engine mount on the transit and bend it up, then weld sides on to support the bit you have bent up this now gives you an engine mount hole laying flat instead of at 45 degrees, you will find the original granada alloy engine mounts drop straight in the holes now.

i can say from doing 2 24v transits that you will have loads of fun, a swb van will do the quater mile in low 16's and a lwb will do it in mid 16's, that means you will keep up with the average RS Turbo!!!!!!!!!

any questions email me at john@focusv8.co.uk

next projects out later this year early next year are a 1000BHP focus hence the focusv8 email address and a dodge viper powered caterham type kit car!!!!!!!

getting closer to doing it now :D

From http://www.focusv8.co.uk

Q: What sort of power can I expect?

A: Normally asperated V8 300-450 bhp
.....Supercharged V8 400-750+bhp

Q: Which Focus can i use?

A: Any Focus (3/5door hatch, saloon or esate).
.....we believe even a Transit Connect uses the same floor pan!!!!!.
.....Now thats express delivery

Now I'm not really a big fan of the Transit connect. I've got nothing against it other than it should be called the Focus Courier or Focus Connect or something. But....
750bhp Transit Connect anyone?

with the mounts i was thinking about making an adapter plate to bolt to the V6 block and either the Di or pinto mounts could bolt or weld to it!
