yb cosworth would fit onto a pinto adaptor plate (same block) then onto MT75

Mike69woodford was doing this
2005 Ford F250 Super Duty
1992 MK3 ambulance
1980 A Series crew cab
1984 A series RB44

well as i assume you know the yb cosworth is based on a pinto so as pintos were fitted as standard in mk2/3/4 vans then one of those would make life easier :D
the diff - well standard transit seems to cope well but can get noisy andd no lsd option on swb - if mine doesnt cope (im building a cosworth BOA) then i'll proberby swap the complete axle - would take a bit more work but something that can take the power easly - take a look at sundowners threads he has a 9" in his :D

Well if you are using the standard box and axle then the prop on the van will do the job. But the MT75 really isn't up to the job of a powerful engine.

As for the loom it depends what you are doing with the engine, if are leaving all the electrics on it then you will really need a full loom, but it also depends what van you get.

going to take it straight from a cossie saph as it comes so if i used the cossie box i would need a new prop?? also with the wireloom i was thinking of just adding to the original transit 1 or is there an easyer way?? cheers

If you use the saph box you may be able to use the same prop but the gearstick will be behind you!

Try a search of the forum, this subject has been covered a few times and there is already a lot of useful information on here.

cossy saff box will be a T5 - the stick will be near the back of the box - it is possable to get a T5 from a jeep c3 in america and that has the stick near where it should be on the transit :D

bj928 used a mt75 box on his cossy boa and it was fine - there is split opinion on which to go for - im using an mt75

you will need to splice the prop cut the prop in the saph and tranny then weld the 2 halfs together may be

use as much of the saph loom as you can for the engine bay then cut the rest out

try the mt75 from the tranny see how it goes , what sort of power are you after?

the pinto transit has an adapter plate (pinto - mt75) - this would fit a cosworth yb :D

try search http://www.fordtransit.org/forum/search.php and type in cosworth - theres quite a few threads, but any more infor you need just ask :D

the wiring loom i believe is a seperate engine loom on the cossy yb - it is on the boa, so take it off the sierra and fit it in the transit - if your not sure you could pay an auto electrician for that part of the job :D
