I've got one in my mk6 - fitted it in about an hour - didn't take any pictures though :(

basically mark out the roof using the template in the kit

go under the headlining and get the wiring to the rear most courtesy light out of the way

dust sheet the whole interior

jig saw just inside the template line you've drawn (cut though the roof panel and the headlining in one)

fit the outer roof frame (using the sealant strip supplied) - bolt the inner roof frame to it

fit the glass and the sunroof trim

finally move the rear courtesy light and wiring to the front courtesy light position (or the rear load lights won't work)

job done :D

by rear light do you mean the rear one in "cab" area? i thought it would be a pretty easy job but just where my bulkead is there is a crossmember and thought that would interfere with the sunroof.
what make is it?

thats good, the ones i looked at on ebay all slide and looked like they would cause problems with that crossmember thing.
so its one of the more straight forward jobs?
last question then, is it worth it? or is it just another thing for posing with?
