the RAC and AA normally fitted their switches in the dash right of the steering wheel

The MK6 has a pod readily available to take the digi tacho :D

well
yesterday when i was looking into my battery drain problem
i fitted the battery back on and started the van
then went round and put the central locking fuse back in (you know whats coming)
and all the doors locked
so i pulled the fuel pump fuse and stalled the engine
got my spare remote fob out and it didnt work (ignition inhibitor)
no spare key
so phoned the rac
he turns up after half an hour and in five mins he is in the van   8)
but he was in a nice new mk7 350
so i made him a cuppa and we had a chat about it
it had a nice factory looking pod but he was complaining about not having any cup holders

so i saw a mk 7 pod sorry not mk 6
and the roof light switches where over the door cup holder

(no laughing for the keys)
