Did a little work to a couple of the rims today, removed fake bolts, reshaped and refaced edges of the rims. Remove paint and ground down faces of the holes with the dremmel... Painted with white primer just to see what they would look like, but I think im heading down the chrome silver look.

  8) wow - love white myself but it depends on the "look" your going for white tends to look a bit more sporty and chrome/silver more GLX

as for the bolts - what size are the holes :?: allen capheads sounds like the best idea - paint them whatever colour 1st then bolt them in for security :D

how are you getting on with the centrecaps :?:

Im sitting here with the 2 rims in front of the tele, just admiring them... good job the misses is at work!
I quite like the look of them aswell. I am going to get the tyres taken off the other 2 and paint one silver, just to what it looks like. As for the looks of the van, everything on the outside is white and chrome/silver, white body with colour coded front bumber (eventually).
Im just wondering if white wheels could be too much, the anodised blue bolts are a must if I can afford and find them.
Luke: As for the centre caps, I have emailed a few companies, but no response yet, got any ideas

I've done a little bit of quick research for you. Now I don't think Screwfix have a place in Southend but there is a place in Basildon which is near enough. They do packs of between 50 and 250 dependant on the size you're after. You may need to go to Halfrauds though to get the shade of paint you're after because they don't sell automotive paint in screwfix.
Instead of nyloc type nuts though, why don't you use normal nuts with lock-tight stuff?
Current Transit: Mk8 tourneo Sport with go faster stripes.

Long time sold: Mk5 LWB 190, 2.5di banana SHR, 3 seats, SLD, Twin rear doors (rusted bottoms), manual locking & windows.

What hell has gone wrong? Sprayed some filler spray on the white paint and this has happen...WHY? :(

Also brought some M4 (should have got M5's instead) stainless cap bolts today from Screwfix only £2.10 for 50of to see what it would look like. I still cant find any anodised blue bolts at a reasonable price or even enough of them...
update: Tastynuts.com 100 of M5x10mm blue anodise = £58.00 +p+p

hyperbolt.com have m5x10 blue @ 40p each, so £40 for 100
May be worth phoning them up to see if they'll give you a discount though

Their a bit sloppy in the holes, but Yes, I agree with you. They are already quite polished, but I may give them the once over with a polishing wheel. Found a load of stainless nuts and lock wshers at work, so I bought the nuts for nothing. Thats another £1.55 down the pan...

you'd prolly be better off with nylocks - even non stainless ones on the back - just paint over them they'd never come loose :D
