It's a shame nitroman didn't have time to do a run without NOS - that would have been interesting :D

was funny the 1st run he did me stu and tony were all watching he went up against a cossy'd mk1 escort which has run 12 secs in the past - the escort won but the van was so close   8)

tonys did have full intereior with quite a bit of weight :? all seats still in etc. when we were pushing them along the line up to save batterys it was harder to push than the others - i wish i had a video of the axle tramp tony was getting off the line   - need to get that under control too

mine was the same problems in getting the power down - my best run was done setting off in 2nd

mrs aint too good so had to go  next time we all meet i will run without nos i reckon 17 secs? and have a ace card to play yet so looking for late 14s

the ace card involves losing all the fat out ot the van cos its running heavy a bit  re jetting and a set of used slicks and at the last minute im gonna jump out the van and send it down via remote control (nothing in the rules says you cant) also im gonna eat carbon fibre for a week before cos that weighs less than proper food and i should lose a few pounds which shoud help

some of the above is true, some aint

i did the 1/4 mile in 21.76 seconds at a speed of 56mph in our scooby doo mini.
not bad for a bog standard 1000cc mini.
and only 4 seconds behind brownys v6
but only half the weight of a transit van and 3rd of the power
yet going round an oval track seems alot quicker than in straight line

watching the transits go head to head was better than all the other speed freaks.
at least the racing was pretty close and fairly even
my first drag was against the blue noble and it was on its way back before i crossed the line
as for the shed did it make it home again

 I reckon a good autobox will solve most of these problems :!:
