In Germany all MK I of Phase 1 had the Mirrors on the wings.
Phase 2 MKI (1970) had the right Mirror on the wing and the left Mirrors be mounted on the door. I like it

The right phase 2 mirror (continental europe) could also be door mounted, but don't know exactly if pre-73 phase 2s also got this option, only the '73-'77 years I know for sure!

That's odd, cos I never even saw this on the imported fire vans, which is why I thought it had been done by a previous owner.

well my 75 had both mirrors on the wings Florian meissenheim whatever that means :lol: :lol:
