it was at the time the new lc kent powerd swb came out ! :? i would of had the 2ltr v4 option myself as the lc kent was a crap engine for the transit imo :?

Were factory MK1 Kents flat fronts? :?

stefan in 1976 they were 1.6 kent and 2ltr v4 was a option and not standard fit , they still fitted in the flat front no problem! and gave 65ps i think the same as your v4 engines! :)
i dont think the germans had the kent in the swb did they???? also in the first mk2 they were kent powerd as well in 1978! :wink:

Thanks Mark! :D You're right: We never had Kent-equipped MK1's and MK2's! That's why I never saw one and I thought all MK1's with straight 4 engines had the diesel front! :lol: :oops: But I'm still learning! :wink:

That kent must have been a little negine then, not sure I have ever seen one.

As the "Black Gold" was/is a custom, maybe they converted the Kent with a Pace or May turbo kit! 35-50 bolt-on horsepowers! 8)
