No, just find one with the same part number.

had pump changed but now traction control light on but showing no faults

Has it had the steering angle sensor etc calibrated since fitted ?

If the T/C light is on...the "WILL" be a fault code stored. What code reader are you using.??

You need to find out what the actual fault code/s is/are..?? Guessing and throwing parts at it is a waste of your time and money.
