progress update

had a crap day - too much rain - i wanted to get the waxoiling done and fit th tank but in the end i got the tank on with a ratchet strap and the fuel lines in but not fastened yet :) waxoiling not done yet :(

on the plus side i can now drive it in and out of the garage 8) 8)

1st impressions - the clutch that i thought was heavy when i fitted it, is way lighter than my mk4Di and the acceletator pedal is very light too, i'll have to fit am extra spring i think :D
i didnt give it much stick but i can tell its got some power just from the small bit of driving i did  good job really

top day today (and ive got tomorrow too) got some waxoiling done, side windows fitted, and door handles etc. loads of little jobs that could have caused problems :D

i have an annoying habbit of just putting important bits all over the place so now i'm just missing a few bits like bolts that hold the front panel on, speedo cable - front windows - better start looking

and i'll try remember camera tomorrow 8)

progress today :D

got loads done 8) - almost ready for MOT - was gonna book it for during the week but i cant find the vin plate :x not sure if i can stamp a bit of ally up just to get it through :? i think ive done that before with a car but not sure on the van weights :? its really annoying cos i had it a few weeks ago and must have put it in a safe place

anyway apart from that nearly all jobs are done - just need to extend the exhausts so the exit out of the sides, battery i need to clamp it down, windscreen washer bottle and pipes - cant find them either

forgot my camera but all going well i'll be at the northern meet next weekend so you can see it in the metal if you go  failing that pics will be available

flying now 8)

MOT booked for 4:30 wednesday :D :D :D

popped up after work today and got the exhausts extended to exit at the edge of the van, lots of little jobs - tightning bolts etc.

when i was at the mot station i asked about the vin tag and he said it was ok to stamp one myself :D ofcourse i found it strait away then

also the front spoiler is about 120mm off the floor - i was a bit worried it would catch the ramps but he says it will be fine :) if i get time i'll change the springs anyway :D

apart from that actually drove it around 8) its very loud, it would be fine to drive as you can go anyware on tickover  but when its revved it is a bit much, i hope he doesnt knock it on being too loud :)

jobs left for tomorrow

fit windscreen  fingers crossed
bleed brakes again - they feel spongey :(
get windscreen wash to work
fit door seals :)
thats it i think
