Cheers guys-started the wiring today,just the fuel pump relay to sort and should be about there!-would have gone for a start tomorrow but some dope forgot to order a fuel filter!
Gonna' order a DOHC Rad too as been sussing out the cooling and this the easier option,think I need top and bottom hoses too as there not very clever!-also need a hose adapter for a fan switch as I don't think the DOHC rad has one!
Not a lot to see but some pics ...............

Oh!-nearly forgot,which is the in/out fuel pipes on the engine?-difficult to see under the plenum and I forgot! LOL!

Well,finished off the wiring,good job I saved the relay holder as this made a neat job of it all!
added bonus is that I have the spare relays/fuses for the fan etc!
Oh!-I did I mention, SHE RUNS!!
How it ended up..........

With the filter in place,

Started on the exhaust today,had to shorten both d/pipes as they hit the subframe! got both done and the idea is to use the Di d/pipe to make a 'Y' piece and connect to the original silencers.
BTW,couple of questions for the techies!-I run the f/pump relay directly to earth but the wiring diagram shows it going to pin 22-is this o.k.?also think the ecu needs a vss signal,if this is true,is it the actual signal wire I use,i.e the one feeding the speedo?
Also the diagram shows a connection to the stop light switch,is this needed?-remember I'm auto if it makes any difference! and last but not least does any know what colour wires do what one Transit and Scorpio VSS plug?-still waiting for the diagrams I ordered!-will be finished before I get em' at this rate!!

normally runs to pressure then stops( when ign on)
then runs again on a signal from cps on trying to start

Fuel pump will flatten battery quick if ign left on, for any lenth of time, also if in a crash or in the event of fuel leakage system will just pump the tank dry, could be very iffy to be honest.
