MK6 SWB Cosworth YB Conversion!

Luke, the transit rev counter is ECU controlled and had 1 pulse per RPM

The coil gives 2 pulses per RPM, I think you need a MK1 mondeo rev counter as thats what i had in my MK3 and that worked

really impressive conversion, especially to have it done in such a short time!

fingers crossed the problem is the crank sensor - i dunno if it was mentioned earlier we cracked it while the engine was on the garage floor stu did order a new one but it never arrived and we kind of forgot about it anyway today mk1astradave popped round and sugested it - we ran it and unplugged the sensor - no difference so thats promising

so stu will get one tomorrow and hopefully that will be it sorted

Re the exhaust,what sort of money was it? (pm if you like) wondered if it was worth having one done for the 24v?

exhaust was £440 ouch but i didnt pay it
it does have a life time guarentee but i think you need to take it back every year for an inspection for it to be valid

only thing i can knock it on was he used the existing flange for the turbo didnt have any stainless ones in but the quality is very good

Hey!-that's not bad!-I had one done for the 300 and it cost £1200!
might have to give em' a shout!

I bet If he takes it back when Pete is back off holiday he will get him a stainless flange and fit it for nowt.

They have just done my 24v charged me £295

i need some where down here that does exhausts that cheap. So i can get rid of my mild steel one

however it needs to go on the do to list

Well worth the money made and fitted while I waited, took him 4 hours so a fair bit of work involved.
Luke do you want this 3.91 axle I have as it won't be getting used on mine, if you do you can come and collect it.

every exhaust i have had done by powerflow is around £300 but they allways use the flange from the original exhaust!

ps tony i would leave yours runnig the di system it sound sweet!
