....and you liked it really, even though it was a FWD mk6

Well actually, with the van virtually empty, it made no difference that it was front wheel drive
An important fact is that Ford maintained the tight steering lock that the MK5 has Something that front wheel drive cars seem to loose, when they become FWD

But honestly, apart from the fact that mine's auto and taking into account the extra few horses the MK6 had, I found my MK5 is more comfortable over the bumps in the road (I will admit that when mine's loaded, it does bottom out over the speed humps, so maybe it's time to beef up the front springs )
There is slightly more noise in the cabin on my MK5 But this is being addressed
For some reason, window/s open, and they are neck a neck So there's something for me to look into

As with most things, there is a plus and a minus in the equation

The plus is, yes I now have no rust in my front wings
The minus is, unfortunately, my "paint tag" got damaged in the process (the one that is pop riveted on the O/S of the slam panel)

Can anybody tell me what all the numbers on this tag mean

Andy il have to check bu all mine says is BT grey form memory,

I know that the MK3 onlt had Dark blue on it

I think there for when you have some paint mixed up so thay can get the right shade paint for you van and year etc.

as there maybe more then 1 diamond white,

why you need a new one? cant you just get some of them letters and numbers and a nice bit of steel and make you self a new one then pop rivet it on
