Got around to fitting the resisters and blue LEDs to the buttons last night, easy job and very very cheap, £2.50 for a set of 10 including the postage. The super bright blues are right in your face without the covers on and the yellow one is on, but hardly notices.

Oh, nearly forgot, painted my MK5 mirror backs last weekend. Had some really heavy scratches in one of them, where it has hit various hedges, filler spray is amazing stuff and made short work of that and so easy to flat down... I did spray with plastic primer first, then finally, top coat was applied, flatted down and sprayed again for a nice glossey finish. Still not sure if I want to put the smaller mirrors back on, but I think I will miss the blind spot mirrors.
I will try and remember to take a picture with them on tomorrow.

How bright are they Alan?

Would you be able to use a couple to illuminate inside the glovebox etc?

They light things up great, but... they are pinpoint, so you have to defuse them by rubbing the ends down with wet & dry.
interior bulbs next weekend...

Just found a few more pictures on the other drive on the camera... Black was looking a bit tired on one mirror, so painted that too with satin black, then they didnt match, so had to do that one aswel. Going to fit my Rover caps at the weekend, yep, black pennies!
