its not! its just ive been updating this progress thread since 2005 i dont want the thread hyjacked by pages of arguments as to wether geoff likes it or not! if he does fine if he doesnt i'll not be loosing any sleep over it, its well documented you both have different opinions on the mk2, and i know neither of you will just leave it to 1 post!

my van is not to everyones tastes but so what im building it how i want it, it's visually a mk2, but mechanically a granada/mk4/mk3/mk2/mk1/mercedes and plenty of other bits!
:D

Well you know of all people I have nothing against the Mk2!

Though I wish you had left the Mk1 front end on your van.

update on progress incase you havent read the engine transplant thread ive just got it running :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

i'm chuffed to bits i'm cutting it fine to get it done in time for gaydon - still on track tho, so could have done without any hassles with getting the engine running :!: thankfull there were none

other jobs on the van - i still havent got my alloys fitted to the front - ive resigned myself to fitting standard transit wheels to the front - with either hubcaps that slightly match the back alloys or my wellers on the front and get some 5x112 pcd wellers for the back - thats my favorite option but they arnt a popular size :x
i will fit my alloys to the front 8) - just not before gaydon and not untill after its been MOT'd - just not enough time :(
