well i've done away with the origanal black fuse box - only 3 relays 5 fuses needed in it and they are all on trailing leads so i can transfer them into a new fuse box i've got when i get it positioned
the white fuse box i didn't think i'd need so i uplugged it - tested it and it wouldnt start so i'm going to have to work through it all and see which parts i need

i have found 3 wires from the previa stalks so i can have a seperate flash and main beam

been working through odd jobs for the MOT, done the new prop centre bearing, speedo's working now too
slowly transferring the functions over to the previa sticks, got the indicators sorted, lights should be easy too but as the previa sticks are low current (not like the transit ones) i need to run everything through relays, i havent got a drawing for the previa ones and i can only find 1 wire out for the main beam - not sure if that can be right as it would mean i can it so the main beam flash works when you pull the stick back but it'd also come on when you push it forward bit more testing with the meter i think

The wiring is my favourite bit of any conversion, not done any for a long time, but one day i'll get something to play with

drawn this up for the lights (this is attempt 1)- is there a simpler way can i get 1 relay that does the lot also i dont like the way relays would still be powered up when the keys out

ignore the feeds the ign to the light switch would have to be perm live and the others wrong too.

whats the law on lights for the MOT do i need the sidelights to come on when the keys off is that all i need to do

how about a trailer relay, that has facilities for 7 functions

Something like if its a 40mph or higher limit, then you need to leave the sidelights on :S

still progressing on this - i think i have the sticking brakes sorted now but i really need to get it MOT'd then i can test it out fully

I never wired in the kickdown (needed a switch mounting)- and when i was at north weald i didnt bother pressing it as i had too many other issues, ive been testing it and it does seem to make a noticable difference when its pressed so thats a job thats moved up the list

i also trial fitted the rotating passangers double seat yesterday, it seems to work ok - it will only rotate 90deg but enough to get access to the back of the van - sort of a compromise between having 2/3 seats up front

going to try for the MOT in the week

yeah slowly does it

spent all day fitting the rotating passangers seat and it just fits in i didnt help it by moving the drivers seat towards the middle of the van - i dont like vehicles where the seat isnt in line with the steering wheel so i moved my seat to be in line anyway the passangers double is back in but this time rotates
