Mark 1 Camper

Postby Kerrykittiecat » Mon Jun 06, 2005 2:48 pm

I bought Bob Haigh's camper from E-bay. She's totally fantastic to drive and have had 2 mates check her out for welding and she got a clean bill of health. Unfortunately I think I've taken on a bit too much with the bodywork, Will sell on at a loss if anyone is interested?

Actually, I don't think I can bear to part with her. We really bonded on the 6 hour drive from Bristol to Newcastle and I thinks she's great. any helpful hints and tips on getting spares etc would be gratefully received. I'll keep you updatd on how we're doing!

Top stuff!!! You keep it!!! :D
The camper has 12 months mot doesn't it.... if im not mistaken!!! so you can restore the bodywork as you use it!!!!

My best tip (and i dont think anyone will disagree with me  ) is to underseal/waxoil it (unless it has allready been done recently)!!! this will stop it getting any worse!!!
If your not sure what to do, any questions ask away!!! Theres a breif topic on it here!! have a look, its not the most plesant job in the world but well worth doing!!!
