As to the dating again, they actually have a label with the day, date and time they were manufactured! A little pedantic perhaps?

same problem on my van the fuel guage does what it wants ive taken to carrying 2 cans of petrol just incase !!!

Not smugging (much) but if thats the only problem I wont worry as I dont use much of that nasty expensive smelly petrol! The half tank I have now went in about 9 weeks ago, since when I've done about 8000 miles

I can now confirm that late mondeos have a 6 pin speedo and were introduced when the transit became electric.

Once i find a set from a '99 mondeo i will try them and report back.

Basacly if you have an electric transit speedo get some TD mondy clocs from the same age car

Mine are in and working perfectly. also found that the rev counters are interchangable as i had a set of 6 pin from a DOHC petrol and put the diesel rev counter in and it works

Just fitted the right type...everything works, including the fuel guage!

After all that the trip counter and mile counter aint working any ideas how they are driven

They take there drive from the speedo.
