Replaced cam belt and tensioner, oil & filter change, fuel & air filter change, cleaned the battery terminal connections, and popped a new bolt into the steering pump that had been missing for a few years. Only whacked my bloody head twice on that sharp corner of the bonnet.
Learning to love rust.........

Took the expansion tank container for the coolant off to give it a good clean - had a nice coating of sludge on the inside. Couldn't get anything inside so asked wife what to do - rice and hot water- worked a treat.

Got recovered by the RAC 
No clutch
What could it be?
Adjusted it up and no pedal,
Clue is "it's not a snapped cable"
I'm also thinking it can be done "in situ" without removing the gear box although it isn't going to look pretty

Did 150 mile round trip today with deliveries.
Crapping it at EVERY gear change incase the frankenstein clutch arm gave way.

You can change gear without using the clutch...

Yep done it a couple of times when I had a clear run back home.
Although it's a bit difficult going through a town centre fully loaded when every other motorist either doesn't see you
