It's so easy to unscrew a brake pipe!
To avoid the headache of replacing the pipe, I tear off the nut, then unscrew the mounting bolts of the brake cylinder and rotate it, and hold the nut with a wrench.
And then I heat the nut on the pipe with a gas burner and pour water on it.
Eventually, the nut begins to rotate freely on the pipe.
This is not only a problem with Fords, it is a design flaw.

The nut started moving without the pipe twisting initially.

Unfortunately I took my eyes off it and undid it blind, not realizing it was starting to kink

I've used the method you mentioned in the past, but didn't think I'd need it this time.

We've harvested 1 cucumber and 1 tomato up to now this year

This year I have already pickled 15 6-liter bottles of cucumbers and my wife has pickled her first three-liter jar of tomatoes.
Today I calibrated my temperature gauge on the Transit.
I unscrewed the temperature sensor, connected it to the circuit and turned on the ignition, took a thermometer, a temperature sensor and a working thermostat, lowered them into the container and poured boiling water.
The water quickly cooled to 80 degrees Celsius, the arrow of the temperature gauge at this temperature was exactly in the middle of the scale, but the thermostat was closed.
I began to heat the water in the container with a gas burner, at a temperature of 85 degrees the thermostat began to open, the arrow moved a little towards the red line. I managed to heat the water to 92 degrees, while the thermostat was noticeably open, but not completely and the arrow was between the letters P and M of the word NORM on the scale, noticeably moving away from the middle.
While driving, it is usually in this position.
Tomorrow I want to buy a new thermostat and install it

On Friday I installed a new thermostat and the Transit engine stopped overheating.
The temperature gauge needle returned to its original place.
Instead of changing the thermostat right away, I started checking and adjusting the injectors!
But now I have working and properly adjusted injectors!
The engine stopped smoking black smoke.
I hope that fuel consumption will also decrease.

Did you replace anything in the end?

I am looking at upgrading my alternator but unsure what to go up to. Thanks

Anyway today turning things on took it to battery voltages.

Checked with tester on batteries and directly to the back of the alternator.

Best reading direct to alternator is 13.9 (showing as 13.8 in cab)

Heater on #1,side lights, dash cam and voltage shows 12.6-13.2v

Replacement required methinks.

I used a Magnetti-Morelli 55 amp generator, a 70 amp generator and replaced it with a Mitsubishi 95 amp generator. The Mitsubishi generator has better electrical performance, but the main thing is the large splines on the articulated vacuum pump.

Hi to all, I found this site today, this is my first post. i see that it is a very old thread but I thought what the hell. I have a 1995 twin wheel 190 flat bed, with 520,000 on the clock. I am a builder and have been using it for work every day for the past 19 years. Today on the job site it wouldn't start, I found that the timing belt had perished and all 8 push rods had been bent, 1 rocker arm was snapped. 6 hours later the faithful truck is up and running as normal. not the easiest day for my truck. That was what I did today.

Lolz perhaps several white goods might be required.

I have used my hole detecting hammer and discovered more.

Better retain the hydrographics though
