OK so go to module programming, configuration, then configurable parameters then top option which should be download vehicle configuration. (on the page with read configuration, modify configuration, asbuilt etc about 6 options.

So first option then when that is done go to the 3rd option, modify configuration which will have all asbuilt options present) .

Then let us know what you have.

I have it on my transit custom 65 plate (2015). But I have ids v96, v86 only works on mk7 to 2012 ish.

I had to get my vcm serial number changed also as it was old.

If you can identify the van and you can do a network test and see all the modules responded (ignore ones that aren't fitted) then I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

It only does it on the new Shape transits last time I tried on different van it said the vin was different in the abs module this time on a different van it says the vin is different in the steering angle sensor

If those items have been replaced then perhaps that is correct, mine says that my sasm and another module key be different but I'm sure they aren't, it isn't unknown for module data to be written incorrectly at some stage.

Can you tell us what it is that you are trying to do.

Year of van and mk8 or connect or custom.
Year of ids or version, age of vcm2 that you have.
Do you have forscan and does that come up the same results? I'm sure you've probably already answered some of that lol.

There' s no data configured for vehicle/body type, engine, fuel, transmission, vehicle id (vin).....

Looks like either IDS has not read BCMII or module not configured at all :?

Usually it will identify the vehicle and ask you to confirm then it'll self test to check codes, you can do the network test to see which modules ids can communicate with, then you can go into module programming and read the van data which will show the page you have pictured and it'll be full of info.

So something doesn't add up.

My pal who puts the software on was saying for late stuff it has to be on line to do module programming do you know if any one has done any late transits with the clone gear I could be trying to do something that's not possible

Yes on older vans you used incodes to program keys and and initialize modules. Then that went online so you had to log into ford which returned a yes to your ids to program.

However that is only when you enter pats functions. All other things should work like configuration.

I've just turned my custom on with my old clone for trailer tow.

But older ids like v86 won't see the module pcm especially so eg I plug my v86 ids into my custom and it won't connect, I plug my v96 in it will connect, also if you have an old vcm2 clone it'll have a blacklisted serial number so you get the message no pcm identified it out won't connect. Change serial and it connects.

My vcm is 4 years or so, it came with v86 and c81 ids so it has the old chips inside which also is blacklisted on newer ids I tried v99 and no deal :(

I don't know what the newest custom I can connect to is but I think it'll be each new year per ids version now.

Can't do much with it anyway.
