I also tried this yesterday. Got the whole time display to flash (and the milometer went to zero). I could change the minutes but not the hours - do I have to sit there waiting for the diplay to advance minute by minute (nine hours to go)?

Sorry, but for goodness sake, do the obvious thing and read the manual?!!

I can't remember what it is off the top of my head, but know full well that it tells you how to do it in there!

Mine didn't come with a manual - that's why I asked the forum :? !!!
Anyone know whether the manual is available on-line?

To set the clock, turn on the ignition to position 2 (fully on), press and hold the button to the left of the clock for at least 3 seconds. Then press the button to advance the time a minute at a time. To advance quickly hold the button down. To change between 12 and 24 hour clock, turn ignition to position 1 and press the button to the left of the clock to change between the two.

On my connect
ignition on, press left button once to switch between 12 and 24 hr format .
press and hold left button untill hours flash then adjust the time with the right hand (trip reset) button press left again adjust the minutes with the right button then leave it alone the clock then stops flashing and away you go.
cheers

Thanks guys - I'll try it a bit later.
At the moment the car is under 3 inches of snow and the doors are frozen solid!

If you've got the later Ford stereo (where the display shows the time) it blocks the clock on the dash. The clock on the dash will appear when you press the button but won't set. Also it won't stay on...when you let go of the button the trip meter comes back on. It sets automatically when you set the clock on the stereo.

If you want a manual, try eBay, that's where I found one for my Connect, as I didn't have one when I bought my van.
