Didn't Grimsby go upmarket when Elton John wrote a song about it :?: :P :lol:

fishy smells can be fun :wink: :P the second roundabout on the a180 out of there reminds me of a bird i once knew,a great big hairy one and she didnt wash mmmmmuch down below :wink: 8) :lol:

Saturday nights alright for fighting was written about Market Rasen, 30 miles away from grimsby.
Elton didnt write his songs, his song writer Bernie Taupin went to De Aston school in Market Rasen.

The local connection was probably the reason why 'Grimsby' was written as well :D
